'Closing the Gap' conference (Leeds LGB Mental Health Partnership)
We'll be providing some entertainment during the afternoon of this conference. To quote one of the organisers:
‘It comes at the end of a research project we have been doing over the last year, following earlier research that suggested that over half the LGB community in Leeds had at sometime either self harmed or considered taking their own life. Whilst the subject matter sounds very heavy the findings from our research have created opportunities for us to really look at the provision of statutory services and the provision of crisis services for lesbians and gay men in Leeds.’
